Review: Being Friends With Boys by Terra Elan McVoy

Title: Being Friends With Boys
Author: Terra Elan McVoy
Format: eGalley (from S&S Galley Grab)
Pages: 372
Genre: YA Fiction Contemporary
Stand-Alone or Series: Stand-Alone
Summary: Charlotte and Oliver have been friends forever. She knows that he, Abe, and Trip consider her to be one of the guys, and she likes it that way. She likes being the friend who keeps them all together. Likes offering a girl's perspective on their love lives. Likes being the behind-the-scenes wordsmith who writes all the lyrics for the boys' band. Char has a house full of stepsisters and a past full of backstabbing (female) ex-best friends, so for her, being friends with boys is refreshingly drama-free...until it isn't any more.

When a new boy enters the scene and makes Char feel like, well, a total girl...and two of her other friends have a falling out that may or may not be related to one of them deciding he possibly wants to be more than friends with Char...being friends with all these boys suddenly becomes a lot more complicated.

Hey y'all! So, this is my first haul in a while. I know a lot of you enjoyed them & I didn't want to stop completely, but it took me a while to find a new meme that fit well with my blog. Since I'm going to be doing a new meme anyways I figured this would be a good time to change things up a bit. I know a lot of you liked my outdoor pictures, but right now it's been hot & raining every day where I live so for now those types of pictures aren't really an option. I do plan on bringing them back though, but it'll probably be this fall or so before I can. I will still be including the "bonus pictures" at the end so my nature girl photos won't be completely gone. You may have noticed that I'm also linking up with Books & Beauty now too & I'll be including some other things besides books in my hauls from time to time now. I hope you guys are OK with the changes & enjoy them. Thanks for being so patient while I get everything worked out(& for reading my ramblings here). Also, my reviews will be starting back soon. If you follow me on Twitter you'll probably already know this, but I had/have a concussion & I'm just now getting to where I'm able to read & blog again. I still won't be able to read a ton at the time, but I'm going to do my best to get things back on track quickly.

Whew! That was a lot! OK so now unto the haul. These are all the books & such I received for the month of June & the first week of July.
