Opinions Wanted

   Hey guys. So lately you may have noticed some changes taking place. The sidebar(s) has gone from one to two & has been cleaned up a lot, the design has been "evolving", etc. Most/all of the changes have been influenced by all of y'all! Any feedback y'all send me via e-mail, tweets, & blog comments has been read, considered, & when needs be put into practice here on the blog. Even your book recommendations are kept in mind! All of this is to say that I really do value all of your opinions & use them to help make my blog even better! With that being said I'd really appreciate it if you would take the time to answer my first ever reader survey {see below}. There are about 15 questions total & most of those are multiple choice so it shouldn't take too long to complete. You don't have to provide your e-mail or anything like that, just answer the questions as honestly as possible. Any answers I receive will be used to make the blog even better. Thank you so much in advance! Happy Reading!
~P.S. I apologize for the huge gap between the Google doc & the comment box. I have no clue what's causing it & Blogger won't allow me to do anything about it.

How did you get introduced to the book blogging community?  For me, I had used up all the books in my small town library.  I wasn't a fan of adult fiction, though I am nearing 30, mainly because I wasn't a fan of all of the sex and violence in books.  I still loved the simplicity and imagination of YA, but other than what was on my library shelves- I had no idea what was out there.  I tried looking on Amazon, but didn't have much luck.  I joined Goodreads and found Kristi from the Story Siren and MundieMoms.

Review: New Girl by Paige Harbison

Title: New Girl
Author: Paige Harbison
Format: E-Galley(from NetGalley)
Pages: N/A
Genre: YA Fiction
Stand-Alone or Series: Stand-Alone

Summary(from Goodreads):
  A contemporary young-adult retelling inspired by the classic 1938 romantic suspense bestseller Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier.
   They call me 'New Girl'...
  Ever since I arrived at exclusive, prestigious Manderly Academy, that’s who I am. New girl. Unknown. But not unnoticed—because of her.
   Becca Normandy—that’s the name on everyone’s lips. The girl whose picture I see everywhere. The girl I can’t compare to. I mean, her going missing is the only reason a spot opened up for me at the academy. And everyone stares at me like it’s my fault.
   Except for Max Holloway—the boy whose name shouldn’t be spoken. At least, not by me. Everyone thinks of him as Becca’s boyfriend…but she’s gone, and here I am, replacing her. I wish it were that easy. Sometimes, when I think of Max, I can imagine how Becca’s life was so much better than mine could ever be.
   And maybe she’s still out there, waiting to take it back.
