Summary(from GoodReads):
Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. She's stuck at JFK, late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon to be step-mother that Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's in seat 18C. Hadley's in 18A.
Twists of fate and quirks of timing play out in this thoughtful novel about family connections, second chances and first loves. Set over a 24-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.
My Thoughts:
First off I will probably refer to this book as Statistical Probability for the rest of this review since it has the second longest title of every book I've read. Secondly, this will probably be a pretty short review since I honestly have nothing bad to say.I'm so thankful I was sent this book to review. Statistical Probability was exactly what I needed to get me out of my reading funk; a cute, clean, book. Statistical Probability was pure romantic comedy & I loved every page of it. Hadley is your typical, sometimes over-dramatic, teenage girl with a fear of mayo(read the book & you'll get it). I absolutely adored Oliver. Charming, funny, British? Yes, please! ;) Statistical Probability was a quick read & the story held a good steady pace. Jennifer did an amzing job with this one. It was 100% a case of love at first read & I can't wait to see what Jennifer writes next. Also, though the title is long, it is clever & fits perfectly with the story.
In all, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight. It's perfect for a Valentine's read, or an anytime read(the book itself even looks a bit like a valentine, how cute & unique is that cover)! I adored this book!

Sounds like a really cute book and even though they are annoying to write in reviews, I actually really like long book titles! I don't know why, but I'm always drawn to them!
ReplyDeleteHaha Same here. I think with me it's because they're usually really different. I feel like with short titles you eventually get a lot of the same. It was a very cute book! By the way, the first longest title, if you're curious was This
